DELIVERY AND COLLECTION INFORMATION

We provide here some practical information about delivery (pick-up) and collection (drop-off) locations of CAPITAL RENT-A-CAR.
There are two areas where we operate. These are Athens (including the Port of Piraeus) and Thessaloniki.
Our ATHENS OFFICE is located very near the ACROPOLIS and the AKROPOLI METRO STATION. Our address is 14 SYNGROU avenue. It's a 10 minute walk from the Parliament (SYNTAGMA Square).
Our Athens area service includes:
ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Service here is provided in the Terminal. When arriving you will be greeted in the Arrivals Hall and have your car immediately.
When departing you will return your car directly at departures lever and just walk in the check-in area.
There is a reasonable charge for Airport service. This is included in the price offered via this site.
PORT OF PIRAEUS. Service here is provided directly next to the FERRY or CRUISE SHIP that you have designated (whether you are arriving or departing). It is therefore important that you contact CAPITAL RENT-A-CAR by phone, fax or e-mail to give the name of your ferry or cruise ship and the Port of origin or destination.

ATHENS AND PIRAEUS HOTELS (within city limits). For delivery and/or collection directly at your Hotel, please provide the name and address of your Hotel.

ATHENS RAILROAD STATION. For delivery and/or collection directly at ATHENS R.R. STATION please provide the TRAIN NUMBER (if arriving).

Our THESSALONIKI OFFICE is located east of the city center on 48 V. OLGAS avenue. It's a 10min bus ride from city center.
Our Thessaloniki area service includes:
THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Service here is provided in the Terminal Area. When arriving you will be greeted in the Arrival Hall and driven to your car in the parking station.
When departing you will return the car in the same parking and be driven to the check-in.

PORT OF THESSALONIKI. Service here is provided at the Port Gate. (whether you are arriving or departing). It is important that you contact CAPITAL RENT-A-CAR by phone, fax or e-mail to give the name of your ferry or cruise ship and the Port of origin or destination.

THESSALONIKI HOTELS (within city limits). For delivery and/or collection directly at your Hotel, please provide the name and address of your Hotel.

Locations within the same Area can be mixed, free of any extra charge. For example, you can have your car delivered at ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and return it at your ATHENS HOTEL.
ONE-WAY RENTALS. This is when you collect your car in one Area (e.g. ATHENS, ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT) and wish to return it in another Area (e.g. THESSALONIKI, THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT). This kind of rental cannot be arranged via this site. It will be necessary for you to contact us by phone or e-mail and we will see if this service is possible (depending on availability). There is an extra charge for one-way rentals (the cost depends on distance and seasonality).
SERVICE IN OTHER AREAS. If you wish to have an offer for a car rental in Areas other than Thessaloniki and Athens, please call or e-mail us. We will be happy to answer and if possible help you rent a car. But this cannot be arranged via this site.
YOU ARE NOT SURE. Sometimes “local information” is very useful. If your flight arrives late in the night. Should you stay in Athens or drive straight to your destination? The map cannot answer all questions. Maybe you should ask CAPITAL RENT-A-CAR. We will tell you that Corinth (for example) is only 1hour and 20min drive from Athens Airport and that maybe you should do it (provided someone will agree to give you the room keys late in the night). Or if you are driving to Meteora (about 5hrs drive) maybe arrange for accommodation somewhere near Athens. Although technically it's not of our business, we at CAPITAL are happy to give our best answer to such questions!
